The Sitka Legacy Foundation is pleased to shine a spotlight on Sitka Dock Company, our Local Business Matchmaker for October through December 2025. Their generosity helped make the final quarter of the year an incredible success for community philanthropy in Sitka.
Sitka Dock Company offered a remarkable $7,500 match for donations made to the Sitka Legacy Foundation during the fourth quarter. Thanks to their leadership and the community’s enthusiasm for giving, the campaign met—and exceeded—the match, raising $52,000 in the fourth quarter to support SLF’s work strengthening our local nonprofits and expanding opportunities across Sitka.
As part of the Matchmaker program, Sitka Dock Company selected the Sitka Recreation Foundation to receive a $500 discretionary grant from SLF. This grant recognizes the Recreation Foundation’s commitment to providing accessible, community-centered recreation opportunities for Sitkans of all ages. Their work plays a vital role in fostering wellness, connection, and vibrant community spaces, and we are proud to help support their mission.
