Sitka Legacy Foundation was established in 2013. More than 100 generous individuals, organizations and businesses gave gifts in the first few years to establish our unrestricted endowment. Donations of more than $25,000 in 2014 and $25,000 in 2015 made SLF eligible to receive an additional $50,000 toward our endowment in each year from Rasmuson Foundation. All of these gifts are now a part of our permanent endowment that is invested to grow for the future needs of our community.
